An IT associate, or information technology associate, has a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Software installation: Install and configure software programs and applications 
• Data management: Support data transfers and file sharing, and supervise and analyze data

• Documentation: Collaborate with team members to develop and update IT documentation and procedures 
• Emerging technologies: Stay updated on emerging technologies and assist in evaluating new tech solutions
